The Visual Ars Group is an Association of societies and individuals who are involved with the “visual arts”.
The visual arts include drawing, painting, photography, flower arranging, sculpture, pottery, wood carving, wood turning, cinematography, fashion design, fabric design, interior design, and various crafts such as jewelry, knitting, card making, embroidery, weaving, etc.
Originally the Visual Arts Committee of the Hillingdon Arts Association, it is now a self-governing autonomous group. One of its main objects is the organisation of the
COMBINED ARTS EXHIBITION
An annual event which takes place in June or July in the Great Barn, Manor Farm, Ruislip, and exhibits paintings, sculpture, wood carving and turning, and similar works of art. Some 300 or so items are displayed and for sale.
